Fox Meadow Barn | Katrina & Chris

Katrina and Chris’s Winter wedding in Winchester, Virginia, at Fox Meadow Barn, was a beautiful celebration amongst friends and family.

Katrina had just started her sophomore year at college and was back home for winter break. Chris had just moved to Leesburg and was getting settled at a new gym. It just so happened that Chris’ new gym was at Katrina’s old Tae Kwon Do school. That’s where they met and developed a friendship. It started as a simple invitation for Chris to hang out with Katrina’s friends, and he’s been a part of her friend group ever since.

Over the next couple of years, they’d hang out with their friend group, but it wasn’t until after Katrina graduated from college that they reconnected on a deeper level.

Nearly a decade after meeting, the two have decided to spend the rest of their lives together.

The couple wanted a wintery rustic romantic wedding, and they chose the perfect venue to do so! Glorious mountains surrounded Fox Meadow Barn in the distance. Winchester Floral designed Katrina’s florals. Her florals brought the wedding day aesthetic together with beautiful white and blue blooms.

Katrina and Chris choose to have a First Look which made for beautiful portraits and provided them with alone time before their ceremony.

Getting the most beautiful portraits of this couple was so much fun! We had practiced earlier in the year with their Engagement Session, so when the big day was finally here, they were pros in front of the camera with confidence and grace.

The DJ Remixologists brought out so much excitement to the reception! It was a fun night; there was never a dull moment!

Katrina & Chris’s wedding was my last wedding of this year and I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to end the year with.

Katrina & Chris, thank you for choosing me to photograph one of the most important days of your lives. You were both so fun to work with, and your energy is contagious! I wish you a lifetime of happiness together.
