DC Engagement Photos
The Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC, is one of the most iconic and awe-inspiring landmarks in the United States. DC engagement photos are one of my favorite things. As a photographer, it’s always so magical to capture the beauty of the memorial in the early morning light. Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph Gisell and Rodney at sunrise at the Lincoln Memorial, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We held their engagement session on their two year anniversary date, which made the experience even more remarkable.
As a professional photographer, I always arrive at a location early to scout the area and look for the best spots to shoot. For this particular shoot, I shot here several times in the past, so I had a general sense of the area and where I would want to photograph them. The Lincoln Memorial is an ideal location for DC engagement photos, with its grand marble columns, the reflecting pool, and the view of the Washington Monument in the distance.
