Destination wedding in OBX

What an honor to capture this Obx Destination Wedding! When Carrie and I initially hopped on a call to chat about her OBX Destination Wedding, she mentioned that her closest friends and family would also be traveling to celebrate her once-in-a-lifetime moment.

When you chat with me, I want you to know that no matter the destination or size of your wedding, your photography takes top priority. I will do whatever it takes to accommodate your wedding day demands. If that means taking a 5-hour road trip to photograph your wedding, I will do so happily! Carrie & Emilio flew in from Chicago and had their destination wedding at Lighthouse twelve, located in OBX.

With their closest friends and family celebrating their love and union, C&E had a fun-loving unforgettable wedding day!

They decided on a more nontraditional venue, a vacation beach home that overlooked a private beach. The private beach was a perfect location for their intimate ceremony. Listening to the sound of the waves and feeling the breeze coming from the ocean was a romantic paradise!

Carrie had a vision of a modern bohemian-styled wedding with natural tones!

Just before the sunset, we took advantage of the colorful skyline and quietness and snuck away for photos.

It was nothing short of perfect!

Renting out a large vacation beach home, in my opinion, was an excellent way to have a summer wedding. They had a romantic ceremony on a private beach; many guests did not have to drive home after a long night of celebration because the large home could accommodate many of their guests.
