I loved meeting Phoebe & Michael—these two are so sweet together! We became friends instantly!
Phoebe and Michael first met in college; they had an instant connection and shared a sense of humor. They dated off and on for a little while, and Michael was always an absolute gentleman from afar. Through patience and understanding, their relationship is flourishing more than ever. Now they are pretty much inseparable when they are together, but they also give each other space during the week to work on their hobbies and other friendships. They are each other’s biggest supporters and genuinely best friends!
The National Portrait Gallery makes for the perfect setting for engagement photos! I’ve photographed plenty of Engagement sessions in Washington, DC, and I love all the beautiful museums and monuments the city has, which help make this historic city the perfect backdrop for photos!
I always tell my couples to bring multiple outfits for engagement sessions, and I always like to see what wardrobe couples choose. Phoebe & Michael opted for two different looks, which gave their gallery variety, and it all blended together beautifully.
